1. Andy Warhol was born as Andrew Warhola on August 6, 1928, in a 2 rm. house apartment at 73 Orr Street in Pittsburgh. His parents, Carpatho-Rusyn immigrants Andrej and Julia Warhola, had three sons. Andy was their youngest. He lives in heaven because died in 1942, the same year that Andy entered Schenley H.S
2. What makes Andys' work so significant and unique is his pop of color and culture. Most of his arwork that is still here today was done in the 1980's, yet has the ability to look modern. He uses famous artists that are well known to most people.
3. The contrast in Warhols' images is a big factor considering all the dark shadow colors to bring out the bright highlighter colors. I'm sure his perspective was pop art, very punk 80's full of crazy colors. Mostly looking like comic book art and ads. The emphasis is mostly on certain parts of the face or picture that pop out. Usually he has one central color to bring out the rest of the picture/portrait.
4. the images are completely random. What the photographer is trying to say through his images is the way he sees life im guessing? He really has no certain composition but they're all very modern. His intentions are to express himself.
5. What i like a lot about his paintings'photographs are that you know they're his when you see it. theyre mostly about famous stars or always hollywood related and full of color even if its black and white he still finds a way to make it full of alot of color. theres nothing i dont like about his work.
